life....

Ive come to the conclusion that life is what we make of it. We try to always do the right thing. We try to teach our kids the difference between right and wrong and we do anything and everything for those that we care for. LIFE IS TOO SHORT! This month marks 5 years since my husband suffered a life altering accident leaving him a parapalegic. I know, how horrible! and believe me it is...it is hard on the person, it is hard on the ones taking care of him and ultimately hard on everyone around us is some form or another. I ask myself, does it mean life stops? NO! It is one of those things that GOD hands you and should make you stronger. So what if you can't walk, does that mean you lose hope in living? Do you allow your disability to disable those of you that love you? I see all these people on TV who have sufferred equally horrible tragedies and they move forward, learn new tricks, they simply just don't stop living..they do the COMPLETE opposite..they refuse to give up! Look for alternatives to show that you still have faith, hope and a will to live! If not for yourself do it for your family that loves you!...Be an example of how grateful you are to be alive. Show your kids that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to..to never get up on your hopes and dreams!!
